_Protocol of Surveying Office Space with Client During the Pandemic
Conducting site survey to office spaces with the clients is an important stage to fully show the real condition of the building or spaces offered to the client. When guiding the client on a site survey, all present must follow the health protocol to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 virus.
The following is the health protocol that must be followed when guiding the client to the office space. Firstly, personal protective equipment of face mask is a must with addition to face shield if required. This is also in compliance with government recommendation to prevent airborne transmission. Secondly, avoid physical contact such as handshake. Before the pandemic, handshake is a customary during introduction to welcome the business partner but today it is advisable not to do to avoid transmission. Thirdly, to maintain a safe distance of one to two meters from the client as recommended by the Covid-19 Mitigation Task Force (Gugus Tugas Percepatan Penanganan Covid-19). Fourthly, to minimize touch during survey on surfaces including door handle, stair handle, elevator’s button, etc.
Other consideration when guiding the client is to comply with the office tower management protocol which includes temperature check before entering the office tower and the capacity cap when using the elevator. After conducting the survey, immediately wash your hands and apply disinfectant to your bags and undersoles/shoes. Maintain good health and immunity by taking multivitamin during the pandemic to support safe and productive life.
